Sr Sales Representative

POSITION SUMMARY

The Sales Representative (Human Cremation) enhances sales efforts in an assigned area or territory by continuously developing business relationships with new and existing customers. This role sells company products or services at a senior level, staying up-to-date on product knowledge and market data to enhance selling techniques. 
This role will be based at the Hyde office

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

•    Maintains a catalog target markets and prospective customers for use as sales leads.
•    Develops sales pitches to obtain new business and encourage growth.
•    Schedules meetings and deliver sales pitches to prospective customers.
•    Develops routine calls and meetings with existing customers to develop business relationship and ensure customer satisfaction. 
•    Acts as product expert for sales pitches; able to display and demonstrate product, emphasizing salable features and benefits and answering all technical questions.
•    Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained. Provides credit applications and assists in collection of past due accounts.
•    Provides accurate estimated date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of production and delivery schedules. Follows up with customer if delivery date is to change.
•    Prepares reports of business transactions and maintains expense accounts. Presents findings to management.
•    Coordinates customer training on products and services.
•    Acts as a mentor to Sales Representatives on sales techniques. 
•    Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries. Communicates resolutions to customers to ensure continued client satisfaction.
•    Successfully and consistently achieves or exceeds sales quotas.
•    Represents company at state and regional trade shows.
•    Additional duties as assigned.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

•    Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, or related field
•    Advanced degree (MBA, Master’s) preferred
•    6+ years of progressive business to business sales experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
•    Routine travel either locally, nationally, and/or internationally may be required.
•    High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications
•    Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills 
•    Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning)
•    Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts
•    Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients
•    Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
•    Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management
•    Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
•    Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
•    Must have current driver’s license.
