POSITION SUMMARY
Assisting in the design, development, testing and implementation of industrial automation PLC programs for combustion plants for Mitsubishi and Siemens software
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Supports technical management functions including the following but not limited to the below:
1. Design, develop, test and implement industrial automation PLC programs for combustion plants by Mitsubishi and Siemens software;
2. SQL database management, respecting functional and non-functional requirements;
3. Understand and analyze the software requirements and translate the customer's requests into technical and functional specifications;
4. Architectural Design: autonomy is required in the design and implementation of Mitsubishi and Siemens software architectures in collaboration with the Service National Manager and Production Managers;
5. Testing and Debugging: Perform unit, integration, and system testing to ensure the quality and reliability of software. Promptly identify and fix any bugs or issues.
6. Create detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, machine interface system manuals (furnaces and plant), manuals for crematorium users, and code documentation.
7. Additional duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field is welcome but not mandatory
2. At least three years of experience in a similar position
3. Proven experience in software development required, preferably in a Mitsubishi and Siemens corporate environment
4. Familiarity with the concepts of software design, systems architecture and HMI design, reporting from SQL system
5. Office Suite
6. Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and to communicate effectively with other internal developers of a project.
7. Problem-solving orientation and attention to detail.
8. Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken, is often required for communication with international teams or consultation with technical resources
9. Willingness to travel at least one week per month
