POSITION SUMMARY
This Project Coordinator will assist with the execution of various projects, ensuring adherence to all project performance targets such as timing, cost, quality, and achievement of proposed benefits/return. This role gathers project requirements, establishes project plans, confirms cost structures and oversees the overall execution of the project. They will interpret the needs of the clients and all facets of the project and have a firm grasp on the packaging, prepress, industry standards, and requirements. The Project Coordinator ensures that satisfactory resolution is accomplished when resolving and problem-solving client issues as they are received. This is an onsite position at our Bentonville office.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collects, analyzes and understands project requirements.
- Communicates the project status, requirements, and structure across the Account Management team and all necessary departments.
- Defines potential problems and suggest alternatives based upon cost implications, time constraints, and customer quality standards.
- Collaborates with clients teams; design and purchasing teams, to define and organise project definition, feasibility, and approval process.
- Manages day-to-day progress of projects including risk assessment and problem resolution.
- Serves as the main day-to-day contact on current projects for clients, suppliers, external partners, and the Account team; provides timely responses to all inquiries.
- Builds new relationships and nurturing existing relationships with internal and external clients.
- Attends project planning meetings as needed; serves as subject matter expert regarding workflow, processes, capacity, timelines, etc.
- Assists with the implementation of workflow management and reporting tools focusing on quality, profitability, efficiency, and productivity.
- Participates in cross-functional teams to develop and/or adapt processes, policies, and workflows to improve efficiency, accuracy, speed, quality, etc.
- Ensures high quality standards in all client deliverables.
- Translates client requests and requirements into detailed, and sometimes technical, instructions for project teams.
- Partners with the client, the Account Team, and project teams to resolve identified project issues.
- Provides solutions for business-related issues and situations and generate specific plans that achieve objectives.
- Additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Administration or related field.
- 2+ years previous project management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- The salary range for this role is $55,000 - $65,000. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may change in the future. Pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
- Occasional travel either locally, nationally, and/or internationally may be required.
- High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications
- Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning)
- Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts
- Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients
- Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
- Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management
- Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
