POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Brand Strategist will work to develop client strategies in the brand/marketing space as well as packaging design. This role will receive client briefs, identify research sources, compile and analyze data, and generate insightful and actionable strategies. • Expected annual salary of this role is $100,000 - $120,000.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develops strategies that are aligned with business goals and customer insights, while persistently working to understand and define customers’ behaviors and barriers.
• Identifies new account opportunities and drives the creation of new relationships.
• Manages all incoming and outgoing communication with the client.
• Conducts both qualitative and quantitative research being mindful of new innovative techniques.
• Presents at client meetings and receives client feedback.
• Assesses future growth prospects; identifies cross-segment opportunities.
• Conducts competitive analysis to define white space opportunities and identifies cultural and market trends, linking them to opportunities for design, innovation, and brand development.
• Publishes white papers and researches insights within agency marketing channels.
• Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of employee(s) to ensure goals or objectives are accomplished. Mentors, coaches, trains and develops team.
• Additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising, Marketing, PR, Business or related field
• Advanced degree (MBA, Master’s) preferred
• 8+ years progressive project management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5+ years in a leadership role
• Occasional travel either locally, nationally, and/or internationally may be required.
• High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications.
• Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning).
• Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts.
• Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients.
• Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
• Ability to work with and influence peers and management.
• Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting.

• Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; and talk, hear and see.
• Regularly/Occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually low/moderate.
