POSITION SUMMARY
The Lead - SAP Finance Business Systems gathers and analyzes data to design SAP solutions in support of business cases, proposed projects and systems requirements. Configures, tests, implements, and supports the SAP Finance solution, and possesses expertise in the business function(s) they support, as well as an understanding of the IT organization’s systems and capabilities. Serves as a liaison between the business end user community and the IT organization to gather the requirements and implement technical solutions to meet end user needs and align technology solutions with business strategies.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for validating current and future business needs, assessing existing capabilities (process and technology), and confirming the roadmap to transform Finance workflow from current to future state.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in areas of Treasury not limited to in house cash, bank connectivity, intercompany funding, and treasury technologies.
• Participate in the development and execution of user acceptance test (UAT) plan, including identifying test scenarios, created test cases and test data preparation and documentation.
• Client facing position and be responsible to analyze, design, implement and maintain FI Module.
• Be part of SAP FI support projects with multiple team members Document and monitor Logistics execution.
• Demonstrate your ability to ensure the IT application support for SAP FI projects.
• Translates multi-faceted, complex, high level business requirements into functional specifications for the IT organization, implements and manages changes to such specifications.
• Configures and implements solutions that are integrated with business processes/data; Oversees system design proposals and determine buy versus build decisions.
• Facilitates discussions with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business, financial, and operations requirements and systems goals, and identify and resolve systems issues.
• Gathers requirements Leads configuration design sessions in prototyping new system solutions for the purpose of enhancing business processes, operations, and information process flow for the end user.
• Responsible for adhering to IT Applications change management processes, including tracking and confirming changes throughout the landscape; reviews and confirms changes as required by the SAP Enterprise Architect.
• Additional duties as assigned.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience.
• Advanced degree (MBA, Master’s) preferred.
• 10+ years progressive business systems experience to include 10 years of hands-on Expertise in SAP FI, SAP Treasury ; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP FSCM (AR) preferred.
• Customization experience on SAP Treasury -In house cash, money markets preferred.
• Periodic travel either locally, nationally, and/or internationally may be required.
• High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications.
• Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients.
• Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
• Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management.
• Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting.
• Prior experience in manufacturing or professional services industries preferred.
• Demonstrated experience working in a matrixed environment with personnel located internationally and of diverse cultural backgrounds.
• SAP Basis knowledge of Enterprise Architecture.
• General knowledge of SAP ECC, BW/BObj, BPC, Process Orchestration, SuccessFactors, Concur and SAP overall technology landscape.
