POSITION SUMMARY

The Lead – Talent and Learning identifies, develops and implements talent and learning solutions that build employee capability and strengthens the talent pipeline in order to achieve improved business performance and to drive the organizations strategic goals and objectives. They are responsible for identifying both the short and longer terms needs across multiple business units and prioritizing these into an actionable yearly plan leveraging on global solutions/methodology and tailoring this to suit local needs. Their remit includes induction, capability and competency management, career development, talent development as well as manager, leadership and personal effectiveness at all levels in the organization.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

•    Implements the business’ core competency model and job profiles (experience, skills, and competencies) that help drive behaviors that align with the organization’s competencies and core values.
•    Partners with Talent and Organizational Effectiveness team members and HRBPs to align and integrate the organizations competency model across talent reviews, succession planning, performance management, talent acquisition and recognition programs to reinforce organizational effectiveness results within their area of responsibility.
•    Conducts internal learning needs and career development assessments and develops implementation plan with set priorities in alignment with business needs and talent strategy.
•    Develops programs in support of talent strategy and business needs.
•    Collaborates with internal customers and external subject matter experts on course development and training content; including technical and specialized training.
•    Oversees creation and use of skills assessments, 360 assessments and behavioral assessments in support of other talent management programs e.g. succession planning.
•    Establishes a career management process that includes the creation of learning maps and career paths to support employees’ development. Evaluates programs to determine gains in knowledge and skills, application and transfer, and overall impact/ROI.
•    Drives marketing and communication related to training..
•    Manages vendor relationships.
•    Monitors learning and development industry trends and best practices.
•    Additional duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

    Bachelor’s Degree in Human resources, Organizational Development or related field
•    Advanced degree (MBA, Master’s) preferred, International Coaching Federation certificate a plus
•    6+ years progressive learning and organizational development experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
•    Occasional travel either locally, nationally, and/or internationally may be required.
•    High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications
•    Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills 
•    Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning)
•    Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts
•    Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients
•    Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
•    Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management
•    Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
