System Analyst - Ariba, Esker

Responsible for delivering & maintaining quality technical solutions to internal and external clients by understanding user needs, analyzing business requirements, preparing functional specifications, developing test cases, conducting tests, administering user security, maintaining workflow & decision matrices, developing & managing governance & compliance reporting. Responsible for driving usage of, & compliance with GBS supporting tools & systems.

  • Consulting with GPOs to determine technology requirements that support business goals and translate those requirements into actionable project plans and system solutions.
  • Configuring and maintaining Esker, Concur, Ariba systems, and interfaces in accordance with design & specification documentation.
  • Maintaining internal files and tables and specify custom solutions to meet the requirements of GPO target processes.
  • Collaborating with Controllers & approval managers to ensure completeness & accuracy of decision tables, hierarchies, etc
  • Designing, building, and maintaining workflow, approval hierarchies, decision tables in accordance with process models & delegation letters. Ensure synchronization across systems & tools
  • Managing, Developing, generating, and placing into production complex ad hoc and recurring reports, including SQDV & KPI metrics, ensuring distribution to key stakeholders.

  • Developing, documenting, and executing system test plans to retire risk in deployment of enhanced systems & improvements.
  • Gathering user requirements, collaborate with SMEs & GPOs to translate into documentation and project plans that realize process improvements.
  • Performing advanced troubleshooting, administration, and maintenance; including data imports & exports.
  • Understanding integrations with external systems and downstream impacts.
  • System security administration and compliance.
  • Conducting audits & compliance reporting to evaluate internal controls reliance
  • Managing and triage requests for system changes, enhancements, and upgrades to existing systems and/or functionality.
  • Developing and/or updating standard work, job aids, operating processes, and end-user training materials. Train new users.
  • Monitoring vendor service levels, quality assurance, and customer service work to resolve any service gaps.
  • Identifying system enhancements and optimization opportunities.

•    Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Information Systems or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
•    6+ years of application management experience, cloud-based applications desired.
•    Occasional travel either locally, nationally, and/or internationally may be required.
•    High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications.
•    Practical experience as a user or administrator of Ariba, Concur, Esker tools
•    Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management, & planning skills.
•    Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning).
•    Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts.
•    Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients.
•    Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
•    Ability to work with and influence peers and management.
•    Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting.
