POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced SAP BPC Senior consultant to support the continued growth and enhancement of SAP BPC. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SAP BPC 10.1 Classic architecture, strong hands-on experience with BPC development, and expertise in integrating BPC with SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and other financial systems. This role will focus on ongoing support, solution enhancements, performance optimization, and ensuring BPC aligns with the organization's evolving financial planning, consolidation, budgeting and reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP SAC for planning, reporting, and analytics, along with hands-on experience in SAP BP 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain SAP BPC 10.1 Classic applications for financial planning, budgeting, and consolidation. 
  • Collaborate with finance, IT, and business teams to gather requirements and translate them into BPC solutions. 
  • Design and implement BPC script logic, business rules, and data models to optimize performance and functionality. 
  • Develop and maintain BPC reports and input templates using EPM Add-in and Analysis for Office. 
  • Ensure seamless data integration between BPC, SAP ECC/S4HANA, BW, and other source systems. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve BPC system issues, ensuring high availability and performance. 
  • Lead and support BPC system upgrades, patches, and performance tuning. 
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members. 
  • Support audit and compliance requirements related to financial reporting.
  • Configure and optimize SAC for planning, reporting, and analytics 

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

  • 10+ years of experience in SAP BPC development, with expertise in BPC 10.1 Classic (Standard Model). 
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Knowledge of SAC is preferred
  • FP&A business process expertise
  • Periodic travel either locally, nationally, and/or internationally may be required.
  • High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications.
  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning).
  • Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts.
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients.
  • Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work with and influence peers and management.
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting.

Technical Skills

  • Strong proficiency in BPC script logic, data manager packages, business rules, and security setup. 
  • Experience in EPM Add-in, AO (Analysis for Office), and BPC reporting. 
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP BW data modeling, extraction, and integration with BPC.
  • S4 Embedded BPC Planning, ABAP, BW, BOBJ 
  • Hands-on experience with ABAP, SQL scripting, and performance tuning for BPC processes. 
  • Experience integrating BPC with SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and non-SAP financial systems.
