Analyst - Vendor Compliance

POSITION SUMMARY
The Analyst – Vendor Compliance will collect and organize regulatory data on materials, parts, and vendors to support due diligence processes, client expectations, and reporting obligations.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Establishes and maintains communication with knowledgeable vendor contacts.
• Creates and conducts regulatory surveys on materials, parts, and vendors.
• Maintains database of vendor responses, and part and material regulatory status.
• Owner and primary operator of vendor and material tracking system
• Highlights risks by creating reports covering vendor, part, and material regulatory status.
• Presents reports to regulatory team
• Gains familiarity with applicable regulations and associated requirements.
• Works as a member of the Regulatory Team to suggest improvements and develop programs.
• Attends meetings with Regulatory, Quality, and meetings with other groups as needed.
• Additional duties as assigned.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Life Sciences, Data Science, Regulatory Affairs, or a related discipline.
• 1+ years data collection and analysis experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 1+ years of experience with ERP system such as SAP
• Demonstrated knowledge of local and regional regulations such as REACH, CLP, WFD, Cal Prop 65, TSCA, and others
• Preference to candidates with experience in product compliance of substances, mixtures, and equipment (articles)
• Occasional travel either locally, nationally, and/or internationally may be required.
• High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications
• Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning)
• Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts
• Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients
• Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
• Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management
• Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
