Our Software Engineer is responsible for the initial design (coding), development, integration, and installation of software within a Warehouse Execution System (WES).
This position will occasionally be customer facing and offer you the chance to have an immediate impact on our business by working directly with our end users, traveling to their sites in support of our products.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Supports project level technical management functions including but not limited to the following:
· Developmental coding and implementation of warehouse automation solutions
· Integration and User Acceptance Testing
· Creation of both user and technical documentation
· Defining test scenarios as well as network and other customer requirements, including server and other hardware sizing.
· Participates in customer meetings to answer questions, deliver training at user level, and obtain feedback of our software solution.
· Travels to customer sites approximately 20%
· Additional duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
· Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
· Expert in the following languages: C#, SQL Server, WinForms
· Must be comfortable interacting with customers either virtually or on customer site.
· 2+ years previous engineering experience preferred
· Travel up to 20% either locally, nationally, and/or internationally may be required.
· An established track record of customer presentations with strong written and verbal communication
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
· Experience with C / HTML 5 / Java Script / SVN or similar applications
· Experience with Warehouse Control Systems (WCS), Warehouse Execution Systems (WES), Warehouse Automation Systems (WAS)

· Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; talk, hear and see.
· Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
· Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
