POSITION SUMMARY
The Content Creator focuses on capturing and producing video, photo, and audio content while working alongside Marketing to customize content for multiple channels. This role is experienced with video capturing, comfortable lighting a location, shooting on foot, as well as editing rough cuts. The Content Creator possesses a diverse knowledge of camera and lighting, software and technologies. The role requires a solid background in postproduction, editing, basic color grading, and image manipulation/retouching and is experienced in creating shot lists, working on storyboards, and participating in concept development.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains, organizes, and create manuals for our product. (user-, technical- and service manuals)
- Composes, records and edits video and photo content for our products.
- Interprets concept through to artwork execution (e.g. digital, photographic etc.) that adheres to company brand standards.
- Partners with marketing department to deploy content across appropriate channels.
- Pitches and experiments with new concepts and ideas in capturing and sharing content.
- Additional duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Cinema, Film, Photography, Technical writing or related field
- Advanced degree (MBA, Master’s) preferred
- 3+ years of previous work experience in a related field
- Proficient knowledge of photo studio equipment skills: cameras (video and still formats) and lighting
- Software skills Intermediate to Advanced: Adobe suite, Paligo, Blender
- Software skills basic: HTML
- Basic knowledge of and interest in interactive, social & digital media trends and platforms
- Occasional travel either locally, nationally, and/or internationally may be required.
- High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications.
- Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Solid technical interest, to be able to understand how our product works.
- Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as internal and external clients.
- Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
- Ability to work with and influence peers and management.
- Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
