POSITION SUMMARY

 

At Matthews Memorialization we are currently seeking a talented Technology Solutions Sales Consultant in Aurora, IN, just 30 minutes away from downtown Cincinnati.   The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual with critical attention to detail, and previous B2B sales experience.

 

The Technology Solutions Sales Consultant will drive adoption of new and existing technology products and solutions, helping customers solve specific problems in their business.

  • Completing contract documentation to finalize sales process and obtain buy-in from all stakeholders at client locations. 
  • Collaborating with client implementation team to ensure successful configuration, implementation and training.
  • Work collaboratively with other functional areas of the company to resolve customer issues and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

 

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

 

  • You will engage in consultative selling techniques that help customers identify opportunities to improve their business by applying Matthews Memorialization technology and other product solutions.
  • You will be knowledgeable on all product offerings and continuously update product knowledge to maintain a high level of proficiency.

 

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales Management, Business Management or related field 
  • 4+ years of B2B sales experience. Preference given to selling software or business services.
  • Demonstrated experience with and knowledge of prospecting and lead generation, customer needs analysis, listening, objection handling, negotiation, and closing skills of new business.
  • Must have strong telephone selling skills.
  • Comfortable talking to a wide range of decision-makers.
  • Strong phone presence and excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Able to get the most out of our internal marketing programs, generate referrals and work in a team environment.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to manage many opportunities simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of contact management tools such as Salesforce.com.
  • Proficiency with MS Office.
