Delivery Professional

POSITION SUMMARY

Our Delivery Professionals are the face of our company and the key representative to our customers. This is a PART - TIME Delivery Professional position for our Hamden, CT Distribution Center. 

Our Delivery Professionals can expect to work 3-4 days a week for approximately 25 - 30 hours per week with the possibility of additional hours/days in covering shifts when needed.

ALL NEW DRIVERS ARE ELIGIBLE FOR A $2,000 BONUS ($1,000 after 90 days, $1,000 after 180 days).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Delivering memorialization products (new caskets ) to funeral homes in a company provided truck or van.
• Responsible for delivery and warehouse duties as needed.
• Provide customer service with a smile to our customers.
• NO CDL License is required.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

• Previous driver experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
• Ability to work a flexible part time schedule.
• Must have current driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a DOT Physical and MVR Check.

• Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk, hear and see.  
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50+ pounds. 
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• The noise level in the work environment may be high.
