Delivery Professional

POSITION SUMMARY

Our Delivery Professionals are the face of our company and the key representative to our customers. This is a PART - TIME Delivery Professional position for our Memphis, TN Distribution Center. 

As a leading manufacturer of caskets for the funeral industry, this job will consist of the delivery of new caskets to funeral homes in the surrounding areas.

Our Delivery Professionals can expect to work a first shift position, 2-3 days a week, based on work volume.  We are looking for candidates who have open flexibility during the week.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Delivering memorialization products (new caskets) to funeral homes in a company provided truck or van.
• Responsible for delivery and warehouse duties as needed.
• Provide customer service with a smile to our customers.
• NO CDL License is required.
• Additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

• Previous driver experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as well as available to work weekends. 
• Must have current driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a DOT Physical and MVR Check.

• Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk, hear and see.  
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50+ pounds. 
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• The noise level in the work environment may be high.
