POSITION SUMMARY
The Coordinator – Marketing Communications supports the Marketing department by producing new marketing content, reporting, and analysis of data for marketing purposes.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manages multiple internal and external marketing projects and deadlines.
• Drafts and edits content for web, marketing collateral, and trade publications as needed.
• Tracks, schedules and measures results from consumer and trade media and advertising.
• Works closely with print shop regarding print deadlines, deliverables and quotes.
• Assists with press releases and media relations activities.
• Additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
• 4+ years of previous marketing experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Occasional travel either locally, nationally, and/or internationally may be required.
• High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint, Outlook & Internet applications
• Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), and planning skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning)
• Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients
• Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
• Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management
• Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
