Coordinator - Marketing Communications

POSITION SUMMARY
We’re looking for a Marketing Communications Coordinator to join our team and play a pivotal role in connecting marketing initiatives with sales execution. In this role, you'll help create compelling content, manage key sales support projects, and work closely with our casket sales team to align messaging, drive customer engagement, and support the business line’s revenue goals.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
In this dynamic and collaborative role, you’ll:
- Manage a variety of customer-facing B2B and B2B2C marketing projects, balancing multiple deadlines while keeping a keen eye on detail and results.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to develop marketing materials that support their outreach, including sales collateral, presentations, and promotional content.
- Draft and edit content for marketing collateral and other materials – primarily print projects – but also including web site and other digital content.
- Manage and report on the annual trade media advertising calendar.
- Track and report on the performance of advertising and media campaigns.
- Partner with the in-house graphic design team and external print shop to ensure timely production and delivery of materials.
- Support media relations activities as requested.
- Manage promotional items ordering and supply for sales and trade show needs.
- Manage and track industry sponsorships.
- Help support the execution of industry trade shows.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Proofreading and editing of marketing materials.
- Be ready to contribute to other marketing and communications initiatives as needed—flexibility and a team mindset are key

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
• 4+ years of previous marketing experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Occasional travel either locally, nationally, and/or internationally may be required.
• High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint, Outlook & Internet applications
• Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), and planning skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning)
• Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients
• Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
• Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management
• Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
