SGK is seeking a Creative Account Manager to join their team. The Creative Account Manager is responsible for leading the team from project inception through completion. You will be responsible for managing the daily work of your accounts and serve as a liaison between the client, creative team, and production team, while also working to develop estimates, manage project timelines, maintain client budgets, and traffic key projects. Additionally, the Creative Account Manager will frequently have direct client contact.


  • Creates and maintains the project schedule and estimate to ensure all tasks and activities are assigned and completed on time and within budget
  • Manage daily work of assigned accounts, including communication between the client and the internal teamsCoordination of workflow between creative and production teams
  • Clear communication with immediate supervisor on status of client deliverables, impact on budgets and timelines and conflicts/issues that may affect the outcome of the project
  • Creation of key documents that guide projects through the creative process: Timelines, Estimates, Creative briefs, Daily tasks
  • Serve as the critical eye before any work goes out the door—reviewing everything from alignment with initial strategy to proofreading
  • May plan, direct, and coordinate activities of teammates to ensure project goals or objectives are accomplished.
  • Mentors, coaches, trains, and develops the team.
  • Understand and exemplify Corporate vision and core values
  • Additional duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from four-year college or technical school in
  • Business administration, Marketing, Graphic Arts/Design or related field
  • 4+ years progressive project coordination experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Prior agency, marketing or CPG experience ideal.
  • Digital Experience (eCommerce, Social, Connected Packaging) a plus.
  • Occasional travel either locally and/or nationally may be required. Office is located in Battle Creek, Michigan.
  • High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications.
  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning). Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts.
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients.
  • Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline oriented environment.
  • Ability to work with and influence peers and management.
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting.
