POSITION SUMMARY

The Client/Account Support Intern will work hand-in-hand with experienced Client Services Directors and Project Managers and will learn to manage client expectations, shadow critical business relationships, and understand design and production needs from project inception through completion.

Client/Account Support Intern will work with various Fortune 500 brands as well as growth-phase clients. At the end of the internship, candidate should be able to interpret the needs of various clients and facilitate with a firm understanding of the developing a creative brief, scope of work, and other key phases of a project plan. Intern might be exposed to learning about various production phases, industry standards and marketing activation requirements.

The  Client/Account Support Intern ensures that satisfactory resolution is accomplished when servicing client issues as they are received. This is a paid full-time internship for summer 2025 (May 20 – August 8, with flexibility).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

· Manages client-specific projects throughout the lifecycle including project kickoff, monitoring project progress, ensuring on-time delivery and timely invoicing.

· Participating in SGK Brand Experience new business response efforts, including competitive activity, response coordination, etc.

· Partners with Account Management Team and translates client requests and requirements into detailed direction to cross-functional teammates; coordinate meetings to ensure client needs and expectations are met.

· Attending client-facing & internal status calls and project activity updates

· Ensures conflicts/issues are resolved to keep projects on track and maintains high quality standards in all client deliverables.

· Ensures accurate and timely invoices are generated by maintaining correct project details and supporting evidence, including change orders and rework, throughout the project lifecycle.

· Exposure to key departments across SGK for immersion

· Builds, supports, and improves client portal and CRM application.

· Additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

· Seeking a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or related field.

· 1+years of previous project coordination experience within a graphics manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Occasional local travel may be required.

· High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications.

· Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning).

· Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts.

· Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as external clients/representatives.

· Ability to work well autonomously (remote) and within a fast-paced team and deadline-oriented environment.

· Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management.

· Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting.

· Ability to work overtime as necessary.
