POSITION SUMMARY

Summary:

To contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the Pharma studio by creating, producing and developing print ready artwork files in multiple formats. Excellent attention to detail is an essential part of this role. A thorough understanding and awareness of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) would be a distinct advantage.

Controlling and maintaining the highest quality of files from the creation of base artwork to release to printer, while ensuring customer satisfaction in both product and on-time completion. Excellent proofreading skills are an essential part of this role.

 

 

The Quality Operator/Studio Operator will work closely with fellow team members and the Studio Production Manager to ensure that client expectations are exceeded, and the highest possible quality standards are adhered to.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):

·    Must be multi-skilled, but as a minimum proficient in Illustrator and InDesign

·    Ensure print specific instructions are followed

·    Previous experience of working in an environment where a high level of attention to detail is required

·    Must strictly follow written procedures and processes

·    Contribute to the continual improvement of the Pharma studio

·    Collation and despatch of all materials required for printer

·    Reading and understanding client briefs

·    Continual training in studio processes and workflows

·    Keep department clean and tidy

·    Check and verify all files produced within the Pharma studio via manual proofread and various automated/ semi-automated checking tools

·    Maintain brand consistency

·    Manage on-time delivery of files

·    Log non-conformance against errors and assist in the continual improvement of file creation via root cause analysis and process review

 

Above all must be focused, flexible and able to work to tight deadlines under pressure whilst always maintaining the highest quality levels.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

In addition, the Quality Operator will also be expected to:

·    Be a self-motivated, pro-active team player with the ability to work and deliver results

·    Be highly motivated and driven to deliver the highest standard of customer service

·    Be a strong communicator, both verbal and written skills and have a positive approach

·    Have the ability/ willingness to travel to clients on occasions
