Finance Assistant Manager (Manila)
In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of corporate governance and financial control for the company in Manila. Producing financial reports and developing strategies, analyze every day financial activities and subsequently provide advice and guidance to management team on future financial plans. Enable the company’s leaders to make sound business decisions in the long and short term, and meet the company’s objectives.

Primary Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

  • Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as billing, payroll, invoicing, and other transactions.
  • Responsible for all areas of financial accounting, governance, and statutory compliance, for the business operations in Manila
  • Manage all financial aspects of operations including statutory financial audits, corporate internal audit, internal financial reports, tax reports
  • Track the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement
  • Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to management team while recommending further courses of action
  • Implement financial process and policy where relevant to ensure the company is reporting all financial and other information accurately and on a timely basis
  • Cash flow management including weekly cash flow reporting and fund request, if needed
  • Manage the preparation of the company’s budget
  • Contributes to process improvement on a regular basis
  • Ensure legal and regulatory compliance for all accounting and financial reporting functions
  • Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Diploma/ Advanced Diploma/ Bachelor/ Master Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
  • Professional qualification such as CFA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus
  • At least 5 years working experience in general / cost accounting or relevant
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and preferred experience in using SAP system
  • Preferred industry experience in BPO
  • Able to operate well and independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have strong leadership, communication, problem-solving and presentation skills
  • Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations
  • Has good command of both spoken and written English communication
