POSITION SUMMARY
This internship provides an opportunity to learn about the fundamentals of various premedia and production artwork functions. The intern is responsible for completing a variety of projects, gaining knowledge of and interacting with the operations team and other business professionals throughout the internship.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supports day-to-day operations of the production department to produce production artwork according to client’s and technical specifications.
- Applies pre-press printing knowledge in daily routines, such as color separation, trapping, stepping, high-resolution image replacement, and barcode replacement.
- Produces high-quality work that meets or exceeds global industry standards.
- Works with and supports the production department, providing assistance with special projects as needed.
- Additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma/Degree in Art & Design, Graphic Art, Printing Technology, Advertising, Interior Design, Multimedia, or equivalent.
- Required skills: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat.
- Desirable skills: Adobe InDesign, Esko.
- Languages required: English (written and spoken).
- Mature, hardworking, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- On-the-job training will be provided.
