POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Entry Intern to join our team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data management and improve your organizational and technical skills in a professional setting. As a Data Entry Intern, you will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining company data while ensuring its accuracy and completeness. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while following company procedures and guidelines.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform sorting and data preparation for entry.
• Accurately type and post data into spreadsheets or the company’s data management system.
• Follow company data entry systems and methods to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Merge and consolidate data from different sources and systems.
• Update and maintain spreadsheets and databases on a regular basis.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of data through regular quality checks.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure data is entered efficiently and accurately.
• Additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
• Diploma/Degree in Business Studies, Management, Communication, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to focus on accuracy and completeness while filtering out distractions.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to manage and prioritize multiple data entry tasks efficiently.
• Time Management: Strong ability to work independently and handle large volumes of data within deadlines.
• Typing Speed and Accuracy: Proficient in fast and error-free typing.
• Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive data with discretion and maintain strict confidentiality.
• Following Procedures: Capacity to adhere to company guidelines and instructions accurately and consistently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills will be an added advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Microsoft Excel.
• Proficient in the English language both spoken and written.
• Mature, hardworking, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
