POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Billing Administrator Intern to join our team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in billing and data management. As a Billing Administrator Intern, you will be responsible for managing and organizing the billing process, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, handling customer inquiries, and maintaining financial records. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while following company procedures and guidelines.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Create and distribute invoices accurately and on time.
• Monitor client accounts, address billing inquiries, and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records of billing transactions and supporting documentation.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate invoicing and resolve issues.
• Process payments and ensure timely revenue collection.
• Identify and implement improvements to billing processes and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
• Diploma/Degree in Business Studies, Management, Economic, Social Science, Finance and Accounting, or equivalent.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to ensure accuracy and completeness while minimizing errors.
• Organizational Skills: Capable of managing and prioritizing multiple billing-related tasks efficiently.
• Time Management: Strong ability to work independently and meet deadlines while handling large volumes of data.
• Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive data with discretion and maintain strict confidentiality.
• Following Procedures: Capacity to adhere to company guidelines and instructions accurately and consistently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills will be an added advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Microsoft Excel.
• Proficient in the English language both spoken and written.
• Mature, hardworking, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
