POSITION SUMMARY

Our Brand Experience Team is passionate about creating incredible consumer experiences for the best brands in the world. We’re on the hunt for a top-tier Design Intern to contribute to our creative team in Portland OR. This is a paid full-time internship for summer 2025. If you’re an ambitious and innovative creative who is passionate about design and is eager to solve creative business problems for world-class brands, read on.

 

This Designer is responsible for translating design concept layouts into pre-press production-ready, digital mechanical art for multiple clients and brands. This role will have the opportunity to participate in the development of branded environments and experiences for our dynamic portfolio of clients. The ideal candidate is passionate about the brands we work with, their consumers, and the needs of our clients. Some of the exciting work we do every day is translate high-level briefs into real-life consumer journeys, from retail builds to seeding kits and beyond.

  • Creating graphic assets in support of brand experience communication + storytelling throughout a company's line of products, physical environment + digital content breadcrumbs in support of the story.
  • Participating in design projects from concept through successful completion and supporting the team with presentation document creation.
  • Working with a creative team on impactful designs and ensuring client deliverables are met and exceeded.
  • Working in a fast-paced creative environment.
  • Contributing to a positive workplace culture where we work hard and play hard, often at the same time.
  • Creating presentation style storytelling that encapsulates a creative point of view, position or aesthetic. Answers the objectives of a brief, often layered and complex into simple, straightforward and distilled solutions for a client audience supported with graphic communication skills and tools.

  • Gaining the experience of working in a Global creative agency with a dynamic portfolio of clients.
  • Digesting feedback and turning around deliverables accurately and on time.
  • Being able to switch between projects across a set of different brands weekly, sometimes daily, as new opportunities arise.
  • Offering input and participating in brainstorm sessions and client briefs to better understand requirements and concepts.
  • Presenting ideas, research, and trends during creative reviews with both internal teams and external clients.
  • Working with designers to translate ideas into fresh and engaging design solutions. Integrating images, text, etc. with a great sense of aesthetics, while executing against the brand/product vision or brief.
  • Ability to flex in skillset and mindset when needed. Some days will require concepting and other days will be crafting presentations. We all wear many hats.
  • Acting as a liaison with the production department to ensure results meet design specifications and the high-quality standards that our clients count on.
  • Supporting all areas of design from initial ideation to completion. Receiving and implementing feedback from Creative Directors Additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • Individual should be seeking a Degree in Graphic Arts, Graphic Design, Advertising, Marketing or related field.
  • Basic understanding of effective Creative Design practices, trends, techniques, tools and processes, across various touchpoints (e.g. packaging, in store, online, mobile, print, direct, etc.)
  • High degree of proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite applications, Figma, and After Effects
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients
  • Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting.
