POSITION SUMMARY

The Change Control Writer owns complex and/or multiple client relationships and serves as project owner from inception through completion. Interprets the needs of the clients, as well as all facets of the project and has a firm grasp on all manufacturing processes including the packaging, prepress, industry standards and requirements. The Change Control Writer ensures that satisfactory resolution is accomplished when resolving and problem-solving client issues as they are received. This is an entry-level role.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the end to end process for documenting, approving and implementing labeling changes in the ETQ Global Change Control (GCC) system
  • Ensure all required inputs (i.e. Forms) have been received and approved, if necessary prior to initiation of a GCC
  • Review all required inputs (i.e. Forms) to ensure a complete understanding of the change and connecting with the L&A Drivers if clarification is required
  • Utilize required inputs (i.e. Forms) and Good Documentation Practices to record the specific, detailed change information in the GCC Initiation:
    • Description of Current State

    • Description of Proposed State

    • Rationale / Justification for Change o Impact Assessment

    • Implementation Strategy

  • Identify the appropriate Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Plan Approvers in the GCC
  • Utilize inputs (i.e. Forms) to enter the required deliverables and timing in the GCC
  • Route the GCC for review/approval through the ETQ system
  • Follow up with SMEs and Approvers to ensure timely completion of review/approvals in the ETQ system
  • Provide GCC status updates (as appropriate) to the L&A Drivers throughout the change control process
  • Responsible to perform PRM and DCE as applicable

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field
  • 1-3 years progressive project coordination experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications.
  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning).
  • Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts.
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients.
  • Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work with and influence peers and management
