POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a strong integrated Sr Client Manager to join our Brand Experience team. You will have a solid experience of business brands and content marketing as well as exceptional client handling skills and a passion for design, digital solutions, comms, innovation, and trends.

 

The role will be responsible for managing a range of clients across the B2B and B2C portfolio, managing the process closely from initial concept through to end delivery. As a brand design agency, we deliver connected brand experiences, so the successful candidate will manage integrated campaigns and clients as well as standalone print or digital projects. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You will be expected to pitch to clients, so a very confident and assertive attitude with polished presentation skills is necessary to promote the agency’s ideas and benefits.
  • Equally motivated working autonomously and as part of a team, this role will see you become the key client contact but also an integral part of wider agency projects. The agency will depend on you to give direction to your account and maintain a clear strategy so you will be driven, ambitious and able to represent the agency independently.

  • Ensure best-in-class account handling and relationship development through inspiring and delighting clients with added value ideas and services.
  • Build knowledge and ability across the business to broaden skillsets and widen involvement in key accounts.
  • Working alongside the Client Director, project management and creative teams, advising and creating innovative, data-driven campaigns, content and collateral to improve brand performance.
  • Manage and deliver multiple projects for various accounts to agreed scope, timings, budget, and quality.
  • Work with internal teams to help define project scope, resource requirements and cost estimates for projects.
  • Working extremely closely with the client to assist in brief writing, project planning to achieve their their technical and business requirements and then moving on to define and deliver appropriate solutions
  • Everything must be communicated – ensure that all proposals, documentation, estimates, briefs, scopes and presentations are of the highest possible standard.
  • Be positive and a force for good in the team – even when faced with difficult problems. Be solutions focused.
  • Know when to delegate upwards and raise the alarm at the right time, to the right people when issues occur.
  • Be prepared to get involved in areas outside of your immediate team. This means sharing resources, helping on other accounts, taking part in pitches, or managing any other internal initiatives if required
  • Support SGK’s profitability efforts by managing efficient, accurate, and timely coordination of the assigned client and project activities; Ensures meeting of volume and revenue targets for each account.
  • Understands and recommends solutions for business-related issues and situations and generate specific plans that achieve objectives.
    • Manages and balances marketing budgets to maximize Return on Investment (ROI) and drive incremental sales.
    • Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of employee(s) to ensure goals or objectives are accomplished.
    • Mentors, coaches, trains and develops the team.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or related field
  • 6+ years progressive account management experience in a Creative Design Agency, Marketing, Retail Brand or similar consulting environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 4+ years in a leadership role (direct or indirect)
  • Occasional travel either locally, nationally, and/or internationally may be required.
  • High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications
  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning)
  • Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients
  • Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
