POSITION SUMMARY

SGK, a global packaging and brand experience company, has a unique opportunity for a fully remote Senior-level Talent Acquisition Consultant to join our team. Our ideal candidate will be up for a flexible, part-time position that allows them to set their own schedule. This is a great “side-gig” that allows our Sr. TA Consultant to contribute their recruiting savvy in a fast-paced environment but still enjoy the flexibility of a variable work schedule. We’ll look for a candidate highly skilled in sourcing, screening, and interviewing a diverse slate of candidates for multiple mid/high-level roles, while ensuring a consistent and positive experience for candidates and hiring managers. Take a “project lead” approach throughout the recruiting process, discuss the recruiting strategy with the hiring manager, provide ongoing feedback to ensure the search stays on track filling the roles as quickly as possible.  This includes the ability to influence senior leaders, manage the recruiting process end to end and maintain relationships with senior hiring managers and Senior HR Business Partners.  Supervise the interviewing, selection and hiring process to ensure adherence with legal regulations and internal guidelines. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops and maintains a network of contacts and pipeline of candidates for current and future openings.
  • Ensures a positive candidate experience with timely and honest communications throughout the hiring process; cultivates relationships with strong pipeline candidates in anticipation of future critical roles.
  • Leads intake meetings with management to confirm requirements for critical positions, including job duties, qualifications and skills, and potential sourcing strategies.
  • Creates compelling job postings that convey the requirements of the role and support the employment and business segment brand.  
  • Develops and executes strategy for marketing the role to websites, schools or other partner organizations to source candidates.  Assess the need for internal sourcing, screening and/or administrative support. 
  • Coaches management team through the hiring process by providing guides and other behavioral based interviewing tools for critical positions within our company. 
  • Debriefs with managers through the selection process and provide hiring and offer recommendations.  Extends offer and facilitates negotiation process. 
  • Partners with business leaders and operations managers to determine attraction and retention priorities and issues.
  • Guides the activities of more junior staff members. 
  • Additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Advanced degree (MBA, Master’s) preferred.
  • 6 years progressive recruiting experience. 
  • Occasional travel either locally, nationally, and/or internationally may be required.
  • Strong negotiating, prioritizing, interpersonal, presentation, and planning skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, and reasoning).
  • Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts.
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with management, peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients.
  • Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work with and influence peers and management.
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting.
