POSITION SUMMARY

The role of the Dir – Marketing Operations Consulting is to identify, develop and manage client opportunities, and deliver against the businesses Go-To-Market strategy. This role will be responsible for managing large regional marketing ecosystem consulting projects aimed at closing gaps in our products and services and delivering solutions to meet the unique client needs. The role is highly collaborative and works in synergy with various internal partners to grow market-share and top-line revenue through the compelling articulation and delivery of our company vision and strategy. 
 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support commercial leadership with the development and delivery of innovative proposals to grow accounts and capture new business opportunities in line with SGKs global strategic plan.
  • Provides targeted consultative support in the delivery of tailored solutions that meet clients’ objectives and expectations aimed at maximizing retention and growing market share.
  • Collaborates with global consulting leadership, planning and prioritizing work and teams to meet commitments aligned with organizational and client goals.
  • Leads cross-functional teams to gather, analyse and interpret complex and sometimes contradictory data. Utilize data to solve problems and formulate recommendations for customer centric solutions.
  • Develops and maintains product toolkits and quarterly dashboards in collaboration with regional commercial teams.
  • Actively works to understand the needs of unique audiences and utilizes various means to effectively deliver communications tailored to different levels.  
  • Serves as project manager in onboarding of new, highly complex client business within the regional and global service portfolio.
  • Facilitates client account health and sales enablement by providing both relevant voice of customer and market insights in collaboration with marketing strategy, marketing operations, sales enablement, and product innovation.
  • Applies knowledge of business, economics and the marketplace demands to advance organizations goals.
  • Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of employee(s) to ensure goals or objectives are accomplished. Mentors, coaches, trains and develops team.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

•    Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Engineering, Law, or related field.
•    Advanced degree (MBA, Master’s) preferred.
•    Specialized training/certification in relevant subject area (e.g. PMP, Six Sigma, Change Management) desirable.
•    7+ years of related work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•    5+ years in a leadership role.
•    Routine travel either locally, nationally, and/or internationally may be required.
•    Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
•    Ability to use knowledge of the business and the marketplace to advance the organizations objectives.
•    Strong knowledge of business models, objectives, financial metrics, etc. used in decision-making; ability to build sound business cases to support initiatives.
•    Strong track record of building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.  
•    Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and senior level client management
•    Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
•    Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting.
