POSITION SUMMARY

This Production Manager gathers project requirements, establishes project plans, confirms cost structures and oversees the overall execution of experiential build projects. They will interact with various teams and vendors to ensure the project stays on track. They need to be comfortable collaborating and problem-solving directly with clients on-site at projects.
We are looking to add someone to our Marketcraft team who has shop and fabrication experience paired with a passion for design and materiality. Someone who's interested in defining their own role based on project needs and their career objectives. We're hoping to add someone to our team who wants to become the subject matter expert on our team regarding fabrication details, methods, and materials. We're open to those without agency experience who are looking to share their hands-on experience to our team.

• The salary range for this role is $70,000 - $80,000. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may change in the future. Pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
On any day this role could involve:
• Creating the overall production plan for experiential or retail projects. Being responsible for the overall quality of deliverables delivered through to install.
• Review 3D mock-ups and architectural drawings, and provide plans for fabrication partners. Run shop / vendor reviews
• Establishes estimate for production / installation portion of the program – negotiates with vendor base to ensure profit levels are achieved.
• Manages production / installation vendors to ensure their work is done on time / on budget / and to the right level of quality.
• Defines potential problems and suggests alternatives based upon cost implications, time constraints, and client expectations.
• Frequent travel to vendors and client installs. Conduct site surveys and supervision of installers / vendors.
• Communicating project status with manufacturing, account teams, clients, and project management teams.
• Additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Production Management, Marketing, Industrial Design, Shop Fabrication, OR related field.
- 8+ years progressive production experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Understanding and experience in structural/architectural build is a must. Hands-on fabrication and shop experience that informs up-stream design decisions and feedback (critical).
- Periodic travel either locally, nationally, and/or internationally may be required.
- High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications.
- Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning).
- Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts.
- Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients.
- Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
- Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management. Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting.
