POSITION SUMMARY

The APAC Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for delivering quality hires to the business segments using creative sourcing methods to identify both active and passive candidates. This person will work directly with the APAC Business Leaders, Regional HR (Singapore), and other internal stakeholders, to conduct end-to-end recruitment for all roles under their geographical coverage. They will be responsible for end-to-end recruitment, while ensuring a consistent and positive experience for candidates and hiring managers. Business level Japanese and English skills are mandatory for this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • End-to-end recruitment (self-sourcing to offer) for assigned countries/regions/business units
  • Manage job postings and applications on LinkedIn and local job boards
  • ATS management (SAP SuccessFactors)
  • Develop and maintain a network or contacts and pipeline of candidates for current and future openings
  • Confer with Management and supervisor(s) to identify personnel needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications and skills
  • Support HR business partners on recruitment and job market by researching trends and best practices
  • Engage with business leaders and hiring managers to determine attraction and retention priorities and issues
  • Develop sourcing and selection programs in consultation with HR business partners
  • Act as a liaison between the Japan Business Unit, Japanese Labor Management Vendor, and Regional HR on Japanese Labor issues as needed
  • Participate in projects related to Employer Branding, Recruitment Marketing, etc. with local, regional, and global stakeholders
  • Additional duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 3+ years progressive recruiting experience (in-house or agency, MNC experience is advantageous)
  • Business ~ Fluent level Japanese skills (reading/writing/speaking)
  • Business level English skills (reading/writing/speaking)
  • Prior experience in recruitment for APAC countries is highly advantageous
  • Experience using ATS (SuccessFactors preferred), and proficiency in MS Office Suite and Mac OS/Applications
  • Additional language skills (particularly Korean) are highly advantageous
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
  • Ability to work with and influence peers and management
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
  • Occasional travel either locally, nationally, and/or internationally may be required
