POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a Launch Deliver Manager to be the key contact to all Britvic stakeholders in the graphics packaging process.
The LDM is the go to person on the brand for executing graphics projects and provides “feet on the ground” for all SGK tasks. The LDM demonstrates the highest level of ability and skill in all account Management and Project Management capacities and partners with other key stakeholders to ensure the clients stakeholders to ensure the clients expectations are satisfied or exceeded.
Preferably you would be from the FMCG market or print/packaging industry with change management and process development experience.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Full accountability for the packaging project timeline from the point of Design Briefing to Agency to Britvic production at the Factory
- Host relevant milestone meetings within the design to print process that will cover the below areas:
- Kick off meetings establishing scope & required milestones
- Design review Meetings with the Agency
- Artwork kick off meetings ensuring all information is confirmed/actioned
- Weekly project call/Brand surgeries to ensure that project & budget remains on track
- Lead and facilitate Post implementation reviews providing project data highlighting areas of concern or demonstrating learnings for the future
- Work in partnership with key stakeholders in Marketing, Procurement, Design, Technical, Regulatory and Print Partners to create and agree the critical path timeline
- Facilitate open and regular communication between key stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of project objectives
- Establish the budget for the project and create an estimate encompassing all costs from Artwork & Repro, CGI and plates, with an awareness of Design budget perimeters
- Ensure AE meeting outputs are communicated to raise any risks to project delivery and to be informed of any changes which may impact the timeline
- Ensure milestones are kept on task escalating through risk mitigation process
- Create and maintain the category activity plan to ensure early visibility of peak volumes and potential clashes
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the Britvic business so challenges and opportunities may be anticipated or avoided, and solutions can be offered quickly
- Educate, train and on-board all new starters with the correct ways of working
- Initiate, foster and maintain positive working relationships with both external and internal clients
- Identify opportunities to drive continuous improvement of the Britvic process with the aim of always providing the quickest and most efficient journey to the end goal
- Provide agreed KPI data for category on Britvic’s periodic basis
- Manage liaison and process improvements for third party entities such as PepsiCo & Print suppliers
- Oversee and provide client with outputs of the Non-Conformance process for any SGK errors, ensuring full investigation and corrective actions are documented and actioned
- Manage and attend print trials if required/needed, working closely with both the Design Agency & Print supplier to ensure optimum result is achieved
- Provide a thorough and comprehensive handshake to the Internal Project Manager/Internal Production team at the ABOMB completion stage. Oversee the project from a high level working closely with the Internal Project manager
- Instore visits to take place every quarter to review print quality and feedback to relevant Stakeholders within Britvic
- Attend and visit Print suppliers/Agencies etc. when needed to support the client with project reviews/initial design discussions and print attendance
- Upsell SGK group services – ie Colour Lab to ensure that client is gaining full optimum service that is on offer
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
- Robust previous experience of critical path management and cradle to grave project management
- Experience and knowledge of production artwork, repro, CGI, design and print services
- Demonstrate excellent communication ability both written and verbal, and strong listening skills
- Excellent presentation and customer relationship development skills
- Operates with high level of integrity that engenders trust in all relationships
- Productive under pressure and hands on when required
- Able to work in a fast-paced, hectic environment
- Highly adaptable and flexible with the ability to multi-task and prioritise.
- Demonstrates good attention to detail
- Strong planning and time management skills with the ability to develop and execute plans to final completion
- Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work with multiple partners and peers
