POSITION SUMMARY
The General Manager plans, organizes, directs and controls all distribution and sales operations for the Division. Manages sales, profits and assets to ensure total customer satisfaction, maximization of EVA and creation of shareholder value. Recommends strategic business goals and action plans.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own the P&L for automation integration services—lead financial planning, forecasting, pricing, and margin delivery.
- Design, develop, and deliver end-to-end warehouse automation solutions incorporating Pyramid WES as the orchestration layer.
- Lead cross-functional teams: engineering, delivery, project management, field services, presales, and post-sales support.
- Build and sustain a profitable pipeline: drive sales with customers (3PLs, e‑commerce, retail, manufacturing).
- Manage subcontractors, sourcing strategies, and vendor partnerships (e.g., conveyors, robotics, PLCs).
- Ensure on-time, on-budget projects meeting safety, quality, and uptime standards.
- Launch recruiting, training, and performance development for a scalable delivery organization.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
- 10+ years in warehouse automation, system integration, or intralogistics.
- 8+ years in a leadership role.
- Routine travel either locally, nationally and or internationally may be required.
- Hands-on experience integrating Warehouse Execution Systems (WES)—ideally Pyramid WES or equivalent.
- P&L ownership managing $10M–$100M+ services lines.
- Track record delivering turnkey projects: conveyors, robotics (AGV/AMR), ASRS, PLC/SCADA, WMS/WES/WCS interfaces.
- Strong financial fluency: margins, risk management, budgeting, forecast accuracy.
- Leadership presence: build, coach, and inspire diverse technical and project teams.
- Presales & commercial acumen: from scoping to RFPs and solution-based selling.
- Comfort with ambiguity; entrepreneurial mindset building a new business line.
