POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for an Account Manager for a 6 month Fixed Term Contract, to work very closely and directly supporting the Account Director in the successful running of the account and the account team.  With a natural ability for coaching, inspiring & listening, this role requires exceptional people management skills, and must demonstrate ability to ensure client’s needs are met to the highest possible standard. 

 

Multi-tasking at is very best, the Account Manager will have knowledge of each high profile project to ensure client needs are met and processes are followed.

 

The Account Manager will assume management of the team and client queries whilst the Account Director is out of the office.

 

The Account Manager will be expected to field queries/questions from clients and support the Internal Client Co-Ordinator team with all projects, particularly major re-designs, or high-profile projects.  The Account Manager must demonstrate flexibility with regards to client process and internal processes to ensure goals are achieved, with a “hands on” “can do” attitude being essential!

A strong commercial awareness is key; with a demonstrable ability to identify opportunities and maximise profitability of the account. Along with accurate financial management and reporting of accounts, the Account Manager will assist in the timely upkeep of this with the Account Director.

 

The Account Manager should have sound technical knowledge with the ability to make decisions when necessary, without the need to seek technical support.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Team

  • To closely support the Account Director in all aspects of both the PepsiCo & GU account.
  • Manage the day to day running of the projects ensuring that the client’s needs are met and the SGK team are suitably supported.
  • Train, motivate and develop SGK Internal Client Co-Ordinator team to ensure a cohesive team that delivers consistently.
  • This includes working with the Operations team to ensure seamless briefing, drive performance so SLA/KPIs are met and work with individuals to increase their performance.
  • Organise and minute monthly Team Meetings – ensuring that all topics are addressed in this meeting
  • Queries Management review with the team to aid efficient delivery from the Operations team in a timely fashion. Monitor and discuss trends within Monthly Team meeting and set personal objectives for relevant team members. 
  • Studio Liaison Manager – managing urgent priorities with the Operation Supervisors – be the intermediary to support in delivery
  • Support and drive the daily/weekly Production meeting
  • Support the Account Director to carry out any recruitment required for the Account. Monitor holidays, sickness.
  • Working with Account Director supporting the collation of volumes for Forward Loading requirements.
  • Ensure regular meetings are held with Account Director, in order to ensure that SGKs performance is meeting expectations, feedback on KPIs and to identify areas of opportunity and business growth.  Maintain and develop the relationship with client personnel at senior level.
  • Ensure good financial management of Account. This includes supporting on Periodic invoicing alongside the Account Director – seamless financial management is critical.
  • Remain a buddy for Account Director and cover holidays & sickness when required to aid sufficient delivery to the client

 

 

Client

  • Ensure that relationships are maintained with all other members of the Client teams and that any issues are resolved immediately should they arise. Attend all high-profile projects.
  • Be support for weekly Client meetings where trouble shooting/support is required – you are the first escalation point
  • Identify opportunities to cross sell services from other areas of the business, outside pure artwork & repro and discuss with Account Director.
  • Develop and build on existing relationships with Bottler and Client, through regular contact and meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

  • Prior managerial/supervisory experience
  • Strong organisational skills along with ability to multi task.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. 
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Flexible and hardworking.
  • A team player, with an efficient and proactive approach. 
  • Smart appearance and professional attitude.
  • Approachable and trustworthy.
  • PC literate – Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat.
  • Experience of industry web based briefing and approval systems.
  • Knowledge of print or repro.
  • Knowledge of design, retail, brand and packaging
